The Sabbath - What does rest mean?
Wednesday, January 17th, 2007I’m unable to answer this question. This is a question that requires a lot of study and pray. This morning I read Exodus chapter 17. In this chapter, God instructs the Israelites to collect manna in the morning and quail in the evening. The Israelites are told to gather two quarts every day except for the Friday. On Friday, they were told to gather twice as much. The extra manna gathered would then be available on Sabbath. (more…)
