Satan has a history of attaching a person at their weakest point. He attached Eve when she was away from Adam. He attached Moses after wandering in the desert for forty years. He attacked Jesus after fasting for forty days. Similarly, he will attach us at our weakest point. (more…)
Since the beginning when Satan had first tempted man to sin, he had claimed to rule the world. Satan claimed that we had chosen him to be our leader. Jesus came into the world to disprove this claim. By Jesus coming to live among men, he would demonstrate that Satan did not have complete control and that Satan’s claim was untrue. Jesus approached John the Baptist in the wilderness to be baptized. John the Baptist via the Holy Spirit immediately recognized Jesus’ divinity. At first, John the Baptist refused to baptize Jesus knowing that Jesus was perfect and that he did not require baptism. (more…)
As far as possible we should close all the ways Satan can enter our lives. If we invite the Holy Spirit into our lives, he will help us resist Satan’s temptations. As we focus on Jesus, self will be forgotten. (more…)
After the Passover feast, Joseph and Mary left Jerusalem to go home. After a day of traveling, they realized that Jesus was not with them or their friends. Once they realized Jesus was missing they went back to Jerusalem and searched for Jesus for three days. During that time, Jesus’ parents were extremely worried. (more…)
